The Latest Minecraft Zelda: Breath of the Wild Build is Stunning

We've seen some Minecraft builds inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Reddit however, the latest may be our favourite. The two games go together like diamonds and sticks. It seems to be the case if you look at what the Minecraft building community is doing on the subreddit often.

Reddit user lg_cuber began by posting a Temple of Time build on the subreddit. This doesn't even reflect the magnitude of their work. The temple is certainly impressive, but they're actually creating the entirety of Zelda's Breath of the Wild in Minecraft.

As for the scale, the builder explains that recreating the game to a 1:1 scale will leave old Steve feeling too small. Therefore, it's likely to be very similar to the scale however in a way that feels more natural in Minecraft. They're using a mod called WorldEdit to copy and paste specific areas, and even fill parts with blocks. WorldEdit can also be used to rotate entire structures which is extremely useful. They also make use of WorldPainter. (Don't be concerned about how long this will take if you were to attempt it brick by brick.)

Another player chose not to release the map after they were concerned about being classified as copyright violations. LG_cuber, however, isn't frightened by this and plans to make the map available for download once it's completed.
